New Features & Improvements
Dynamic Pricing
-
ShowCycle now provides dynamic pricing for booth items on the floorplan, ensuring exhibitors see accurate rates based on membership status and corner adjustments in real time.
-
Pricing is calculated when a booth is clicked, which keeps the floorplan responsive while applying all applicable membership and corner adjustments. Exhibitors now experience faster load times and reliable, accurate pricing throughout the selection process.
-
The feature automatically updates booth prices after reservation or release, reflecting correct values at all times. Dynamic pricing applies across all account types, giving exhibitors clarity when selecting booths.
-
This enhancement also improves the integration between ShowCycle and Fonteva Financials, supporting multiple pricing scenarios and ensuring consistent, membership-based pricing across the Exhibitor Portal.
Merge Booths
-
ShowCycle now offers a smoother and more intuitive way for exhibitors to select and merge multiple booths directly from the floorplan.
-
Exhibitors can now click to select adjacent booths without needing any keyboard actions. The system automatically identifies whether booths are contiguous and enters merge mode when valid selections are made.
-
Selection rules ensure that only proper booth shapes can be merged, preventing L-shaped or back-to-back combinations.
-
Highlights, trimming behavior, and reset actions have been refined so the selection feels consistent across all booth layouts.
-
Multi-booth selection is restricted for guest users, and merge or reserve options now show or hide based on the show settings
Reserve Booth Limits with – Max Reserve Allowed
-
A new Max Reserve Allowed setting now gives organizers full control over how many booths an exhibitor can reserve on the Exhibitor Portal.
-
This setting appears under show configuration and becomes active when booth reservation is enabled, with a default limit of one reservation.
-
When exhibitors attempt to reserve more booths than allowed, the floorplan immediately displays a clear message and prevents the action.
-
The reservation limit applies consistently across all scenarios, including merged selections and multi-booth reservations.
-
All fields related to reservation limits remain visible but inactive when not applicable.
-
Default values and validation rules ensure the reservation settings behave predictably across Salesforce and the Exhibitor Portal
Manage Items Enhancements
-
The Manage Items Button is now renamed to Manage Sponsorships Items to make item management, invoice generation, and product display more intuitive and reliable.
-
The product list in the Manage Items modal now defaults to alphabetical order, with an option to toggle descending order. Product descriptions are truncated to 100 characters with ellipses for cleaner display.
-
The Generate Invoice modal now defaults to selecting all items, and invoice emails are automatically sent to the primary OCR contact for the opportunity.
-
Updates improve handling of product selection, description display, and record types, ensuring a smoother and more consistent sponsorship process.
-
Ongoing improvements are being made to handle brochure URLs and other UI refinements to enhance the exhibitor experience.
Buy Only Reserved Booth
-
A new Buy Only Reserved Booth option has been added to the Exhibitor Portal Settings on Show, giving organizers control over which booths exhibitors can purchase.
-
The checkbox appears on the show record page and works in conjunction with the Allow Buy Booth setting.
-
When enabled, exhibitors can only purchase booths reserved for their account, with clear error messages if they attempt to buy others.
-
When unchecked, exhibitors can purchase any available booths, maintaining the standard behavior.
-
Edge cases are handled through the show manager settings in Salesforce, ensuring consistent booth purchasing rules.
